Brutus' eyes look a little crazy scary, but my red-eye fixer wouldn't work on his little doggy eyes for some weird reason.
I was trying to take another picture with Brutus in this picture, and you can't really tell but he was licking my ear and it tickled so I started laughing and squirmed too much to get him in the picture, but Ryan likes this picture , so i posted it. Don't look at my messy nightstand! Yuck!Doesn't he look so precious in this picture? Cutest puppy face ever!
Ryan and his boy. They look adorable!

Update and a lot of pics!

So I am bombarding my blog with pictures, I apologize!! I promised more pics in my last post, and so I'm posting pics of Ryan's birthday, and more Brutus (since he's more interesting and cute than us).
Anyway, just wanted to give a little bit of an update, we just got GREAT news that Jake, Tess and Addi are coming for Christmas!! I just about peed when I heard the news, not even kidding! I have been missing them like crazy and shed AT LEAST one tear every time I view their blog. There has been a definite void in our lives since they moved to Florida, so them coming home for a few weeks will do all of our hearts quite a bit of good! I have a cry session probably once a month to Ryan about how much I miss them, so it'll be a nice little relief for ryan too!!
Ryan is starting basketball this week, and he's really excited. I again, have mixed feelings!! I got to have him to myself for a whole week and it was so nice, I skipped going to the gym every day just so I could race home to spend time with my long lost husband! They just made cuts this weekend so they begin practice on Monday. It'll be good for me to get back to my routine, but I'm sad that I have to go back to not seeing him much!
I am still a slave at the office. I stress SO MUCH and my body does not handle stress very well. My face has broken out so bad that I can't even look in the mirror. I don't think my skin has been this bad in my entire life!! It's very disturbing. You won't see many pics of me posted because you will probably have nightmares!! (i'm a bit of a drama queen). Anyway, not too much to update you on, just wanted to put up a post so I don't get yelled at by people, and plus I"m bored!

My mom created the CUTEST card for Ryan, we were laughing so hard! She is so crafty and creative. Just love her to pieces!
Ryan was already chowing down on part of the present oma and grandpa gave him, she makes the best lemon bars! I think I ended up eating more than Ryan did!

We had such a fun Halloween this year. Most of the family was able to meet at Oma's and my parents this year to celebrate. Oma made her famous chili and my mom made her famous frosted cookies and frosted doughnuts! It was just so much fun to be with family. Aubrey looked adorable in her little Pirate hat, don't you think? The only bummer about the evening was Ryan's team lost their game against Idaho Falls. The score was 62-30 something... he wasn't a happy camper, I felt so bad for him; however, there was a small inkling of happiness felt because I get to have him to myself for the next couple of weeks until basket ball starts up again!

Ryan was mad at me for dressing Brutus up as a bumble bee, but he looks so adorable, and he liked wearing it because it kept him warm!!

A Dedication!!!!

This blog is dedicated to Tanessa, my parents, and JoSue! They have been complaining that I haven't updated my blog in probably FOREVER! I'm really sorry. For a while there, I even forgot that I started a blog. I'm horrible, I know. So, as for now, I'm just going to give you an update of what's going on in our lives, and I will post pictures later.

Ryan started his teaching and coaching career at Twin Falls High School this August. He has mixed feelings about all of it, but don't we all with every new endeavor? He likes teaching, and he likes coaching, but he doesn't necessarily like teaching and coaching certain kids! But that's just the way things go sometimes, there are always pros and cons with everything. The mighty Bruins have a record of 2-6. But if they win this next game against Idaho Falls then they can make it to the play-offs, so Ryan has been praying and coaching his little heart out!! But he is really enjoying the other coaches. They have been very good to him.

Ryan just had his 25th birthday on Sunday. I feel like we are getting so old! It scares the crap out of me, it seems like i just graduated from good ol' Highland a year ago!! But it's already been 5! Makes me a little nautious! Anyway, my family came down for his birthday and also to watch my cousin Tony's baseball game at CSI. We went to La Fiesta for his birthday dinner, and if you know Ryan, you know that he is a bit bashful and does not like attention on him in the least! Well, my dad tipped the waiter off that it was Ryan's birthday (my dad didn't know what would happen, so dont' blame him completely!) and they brought out this huge sparkly black sombrero and plopped it on Ryan's little head and sang THE longest birthday song i have ever heard. His face was bright red and was pinching my leg for the duration of it! I couldn't help but laugh my guts out, but at the same time I know he was very uncomfortable. poor baby! He was, however, very happy to have my family down to celebrate with us and feels very thankful for the gifts they brought for him.

Nothing too new for me, I am just slaving away at work. I recently got a promotion and I now (i'm very proud to say) have my own office! I will have to take pictures and post them. It's so nice to not have to be the Secretary anymore! I am loving my job now, but it's been very mentally exhausting. I have a lot of new responsibilities that I am taking on, so it's been pretty crazy! I come into work around 7:30 am and work til about 5:30, after that I go to the gym for an hour and then home to make dinner for Ry Ry. By the time he gets home I really only have a couple of hours to spend with him before we go to bed :( it makes me sad because i dont get to see him nearly as often as I would like to. I have really been missing him, but appreciating all the more, the time I get to spend with him!

Well... that's that for now, I will post pictures this weekend!

Front view of the home. It's so weird to me that I actually own the home. Ryan and I were freaking out the other day because we are actually grown ups now... whoever thought that the day would come!!?! We own a house, we have a dog, we both have grown up jobs.... bizarre!

I was getting complaints that the slideshow was too tiny and I needed to make it bigger. But since I had NO IDEA how to do that, I just posted them!

Here is the guest bedroom. I haven't posted a pic of the master room yet, because it's not too tidy... I will get to that eventually!! This picture is to encourage visitors! I am wanting visitors SOO badly! I'm lonely :(
Here is the front room... need decorating help pretty bad! As you can see, there's still stuff laying around that I need to hang up!
Here is the upstairs sitting room. It will eventually be another TV room, but we need to make some major $$$ to get that room how I want it!
One side of the walk-in closet.... LOVE this feature in my new home.... it makes me very happy!

I don't know how I EVER lived without it.... EVER!!!!
Here's a pic of the dining area and part of the kitchen... I spend most of my time here...eating!
Front room... it's so tiny... but charming :)
Our little kitchen (I don't need a whole lot of space) I'm not the best cook in the world!

Little Brutus

This was the first week we got him... He was so nice and calm that week! Now he is quite the opposite and a BIG handful!

Addi (our niece) calls him "Broosis" It's so adorable! This is my favorite pic of him! He gives us this sad little face after we scold him for doing something naughty! We can't stay mad for long!

For some reason... Brutus LOVES hampers!! Any time he is allowed in the house, he goes straight for the hamper to lay & chew on it! What a crack up!
